Is there a 4th of July event this year?Yes! We are excited to be back at Walla Walla Point Park on the 4th of July for a full day of festivities. Click here to see the full schedule. PLUS, there are Independence Day activities happening in our area all weekend long!

Where can I watch the Fireworks if I am not at the Park?Watch the professional fireworks live at Walla Walla Point Park, on NCW Life, LocalTel Ch.12, and Charter Ch.19.

Who is in charge of the fireworks? Are they done professionally?The Fireworks are purchased from Pyro Spectaculars Northwest Inc. They are built and launched by Kylee Boggs of Wenatchee, who is one of the first female pyrotechnician in Washington State. A big thanks to her team for putting on a spectacular show and helping to keep our Valley safe from forest fires.

What is the cost of the event?It is absolutely free to attend the Wenatchee Valley Fourth of July Celebration. But it is NOT free to host the event. It roughly costs upwards of $95,000 to put on our celebration each year. If you would like to support our Community Flag Project click "DONATE". A lot of planning and safety precautions are needed to host thousands of guests from in and outside of our community. To keep everyone safe and for the park to continue to have the ability to support these crowds, the following services are employed, with the exception of a few that are donated (see the Sponsor page): Beer/Wine Garden fencing, furniture rentals and supplies Beverages for onsite staff & volunteers Food to feed the pyrotechnic crew for five days of set-up Garbage & Recycling Generators for the needed power Honey Buckets & Washing Stations Kids Activities Live Entertainment & Hotel Live TV Broadcast of the Fireworks Onsite EMTs Onsite Staff Pyrotechnician & Crew River Security Road Barricades, Signs & Cones Sand to secure the fireworks for launch Security Shuttles Tents TTC Parking Stage, Scaffolding & Sound for the live entertainment Website & Social Media Wenatchee Police Department Thank you for your continued support.

I would like to volunteer my time. Do you need volunteers?#YesPlease! If you have an hour or two to help run a booth or station we could certainly use the assistance. Please fill out our volunteer form and we will be in touch shortly.

Where should I park?Town Toyota Center parking lot opens at Noon. $5 per spot goes to the Sunrise Rotary for local community needs in 2023. Limited parking and a few handicap parking spots are available in Walla Walla Park’s north lot, these fill quickly. Staff, entertainment, vendors and volunteers park in the south parking lot at Walla Walla Park, you must have a parking permit.

Are pets allowed in the park?Dogs are NOT allowed at Walla Walla Park or on the Loop Trail through the park on the 4th of July. Please join us for the Dog Day of Summer on July 3rd!
